IBADAN — A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and leading aspirant for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Akinola Kazeem Akinjide, has congratulated Professor Nentawe Yilwatda on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the party.

Professor Yilwatda, who also serves as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, was ratified by the National Executive Council (NEC) as successor to Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the immediate past chairman and former Governor of Kano State.

In a statement personally signed by him, Hon. Akinola, a retired Army Captain, described the new chairman as a strategic thinker and bridge-builder whose leadership, he said, comes at a critical time in the life of the party.
