A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and House of Representatives hopeful for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Akinola Kazeem Akinjide (Rtd), has joined other eminent sons and daughters of Ibadan in celebrating the 90th birthday of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
In a statement issued through his media aide, Akintunde Yusuf, the Ibadan-born politician described the monarch’s 90th birthday as a remarkable milestone in the life of a revered traditional ruler.
“Oba Olakulehin’s 90th birthday is a significant milestone. Under his reign, Ibadan has witnessed continued growth, development, and peaceful coexistence among indigenes, non-indigenes, and friends of Ibadanland,” Akinola said.
“We are indeed blessed to have Oba Olakulehin as the Olubadan of Ibadanland,” he added.

Akinola praised the monarch’s leadership style, describing him as a custodian of culture, a promoter of unity, and a symbol of wisdom and stability whose reign continues to inspire generations of Ibadan sons and daughters both at home and in the diaspora.
He prayed for the continued good health of the Olubadan and wished him many more years of peaceful reign, noting that the royal father’s enduring legacy would forever be remembered in the archives of Ibadan history.
