Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and aspirant for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency seat, Akinola Kazeem, has extended felicitations to former Governor of Lagos State and former Minister of the Federal Republic, His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.
In a congratulatory message released through his Media Assistant, Akintunde Yusuf, Akinola described Fashola as “a distinguished Nigerian and a trailblazing leader” whose impact on governance and leadership continues to inspire many across the nation.
According to Akinola, “His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, is the kind of leader every progressive-minded Nigerian prays for — one who quietly invests in building people and shaping the political landscape for national development, without unnecessary showmanship.”

His tenure as Minister of Power, Works and Housing also speaks volumes of his commitment to public service and nation-building.”
Akinola further noted that Fashola belongs to the school of developmental politics championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which prioritizes results over rhetoric and substance over style.
