House of Representatives aspirant and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akinola Kazeem Akinjide, has congratulated Chief Dotun Sanusi on his conferment as the Okanlomo Oodua by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II.
In a statement issued through his Media Assistant, Akinola described the honour as a befitting recognition of Chief Sanusi’s impactful contributions to society.

According to him, “The Ilaji Hotel and Resorts owner, Sanusi, is an incredible son of the soil from Ona-Ara. He has been remarkably excellent in the development of Ona-Ara, Ibadanland, and Yorubaland.”
He added that the title conferred by the highly revered Ooni of Ife is a significant acknowledgment of Chief Sanusi’s humanitarian service and commitment to the advancement of his people.
“This title of Okanlomo Oodua from the palace of the Imperial Majesty is a big one for the Apesinola and a testament to his dedication to community progress,” he said.
Akinola further extended his best wishes: “On behalf of my family, business, and political associates, I congratulate one of the pride of Ibadanland, Chief Dotun Sanusi, Okanlomo Oodua, on this new title.”
