Speaking on behalf of Barr. Sharafaddeen Abiodun Alli, Hon. Aderonmu Sahid Adeshina conveyed the BSA vision of building a more inclusive and development-oriented society where women, young people and Nigerians in the diaspora are recognised as critical partners in the development process.

In his address, Hon. Aderonmu emphasised the importance of strengthening the relationship between Nigeria and its diaspora community, noting that the expertise, networks, investments and global experiences of Nigerians abroad can be strategically harnessed to accelerate development at both national and sub-national levels.

He also highlighted the need for greater opportunities for women and young people, stronger international partnerships, knowledge exchange, investment opportunities and collaborative initiatives capable of delivering sustainable development.

A major theme of the engagement was “Powering the Renewed Hope Agenda through Global Partnerships.”

Representing Barr. Alli, Hon. Aderonmu noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda can be strengthened through meaningful partnerships that connect government, the private sector, civil society, women leaders, young people and the Nigerian diaspora.

The message further underscored the importance of taking advantage of Nigeria’s global connections to attract investment, develop human capital, promote innovation and create opportunities that directly improve the lives of citizens.

Hon. Elliot Elulade, APC USA Organising Secretary, commended Hon. Aderonmu Sahid Adeshina for effectively conveying the vision of Barr. Sharafaddeen Abiodun Alli at the conference, noting that the message on women’s empowerment, diaspora engagement and global partnerships reflects the kind of inclusive and forward-looking leadership needed to move Oyo State forward. He expressed support for Hon. Aderonmu’s message and the BSA 2027 vision of connecting Oyo State to global opportunities, expertise and partnerships for sustainable development.

Hon. Aderonmu’s representation and address on behalf of Barr. Alli therefore provided an opportunity to communicate the BSA vision beyond the shores of Nigeria while placing Oyo State within broader conversations around global partnerships and sustainable development.

The participation reinforces Barr. Sharafaddeen Abiodun Alli’s commitment to inclusive leadership, women’s empowerment, youth development, diaspora engagement and international collaboration.

For the Alli 2027 project, the engagement represents part of a broader vision of building strategic partnerships that can open new doors of opportunity for the people of Oyo State.

From Oyo State to New York and the global stage, the message remains clear: sustainable development requires collaboration, inclusion, innovation and partnerships that transcend geographical boundaries.

Through engagements such as this, the BSA vision seeks to connect the aspirations of Oyo people with global opportunities and resources capable of driving meaningful development.
