Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State, Alhaji Fatai Bayonle Ibikunle has described the sudden death of Abisola Kola-Daisi (Nee Ajimobi) as most devastating fate to have hit the progressives political family.
Ibikunle lamented the demise of the eldest daughter of former Governor Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi whose passing shook the state’s atmosphere in the early hour of today as traumatic devastation.
In an elegic statement by a former Special Adviser on Political Matters to the deceased’s late father, he characterized Abisola as a loving and supportive daughter to his late father and a passionate amazon to the womanhood.
She was an exemplary woman with the rooted sense of fairness and justice unlike many of her age and status who find solace in power to oppress.
Bisola was a potent fortress behind her late father’s historical success as Governor between 2011 – 2019. I can’t recollect the series of lofty efforts and initiatives facilitated by her during her late Ajimobi’s governorship.
It’s so very saddening that the progressives political groups have to contend with this kind of distasteful fate when the trauma of the passing of the former majority leader of the assembly that legislated for her father’s administration, Hon. Hassan Kehinde Subair is yet to abate, he regretted.
Alhaji Ibikunle therefore prayed Almighty to comfort the biological and marital families of late Abisola; Ajimobi and Kola Daisi. He specifically condoled with the bereaved mother of the deceased, Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi and supplicated the good Lord to grant her the fortitude bear the loss of her precious daughter and confidante.
