Remembering the late former Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Sen. Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, a chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola has joined eminent Nigerians in celebrating the legacies of the ‘Architect of Modern Oyo State ‘ who passed away four years ago.
Akinola in his message again condoled with the family of the late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi for their strong will in continuing the legacies of the Great Archipelago and a patriot of democracy and good governance while he was alive.
In his words, Akinola said “Late Governor Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi during his lifetime exemplified good governance and upholding of democratic principles and the building of a strong institution that Oyo State is still enjoying its reflections.”
“The Great Abiola Ajimobi’s death four years ago is still fresh in our memories just like it was during the fresh announcement of his departure that shook the entire world.”
“While I joined eminent Nigerians to remember and celebrate the life and time of the late Abiola Ajimobi, I am equally appreciating the matriarch of Ajimobi Dynasty, Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi for continuing to uphold the pillar of our great leader in the state and beyond.”
The Abuja-based businessman and Ibadan politician, Akinola, added that Ajimobi’s unparalleled political skills, strategies, sagacity and his oratorical skills were still yet to be filled by anyone in this modern political setting.
“I pray that Allah will continue to be pleased with the soul of our leader, Late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Amen.” Akinola prayed.
