Dr. Olamide Junaid, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and aspirant for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has called on mothers to embrace their responsibilities with dedication, emphasizing that the future of their children, and, by extension, society, rests in their hands.
Speaking on World Mothering Sunday in Ibadan, Dr. Junaid highlighted the crucial role mothers play in shaping the values, character, and aspirations of their children.
A staunch advocate for women’s empowerment and social justice, she urged mothers to be intentional about their parenting, ensuring they provide the necessary guidance, love, and discipline required to raise responsible individuals.
“The future lies in the hands of parents,” she noted, stressing that a mother’s influence can determine the path a child takes in life.
