APC chieftain and President Bola Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council’s Deputy Director for Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation, Hon. Akinola Kazeem, has felicitated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, on the occasion of his 82nd birthday.
Akinola’s congratulatory message also comes as Oba Ladoja prepares to mark his first anniversary on the throne on September 26. The monarch was crowned the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on September 26, 2025.
In his celebration message, made available by his Media Assistant, Akintunde Yusuf, Akinola celebrated Oba Ladoja’s longstanding commitment to the development of Ibadanland, describing the monarch’s experience in public life as an important part of his contribution to the city.
Akinola, who has been involved in community development initiatives through the Akinjide Kazeem Akinola Foundation (AKA Foundation), said the occasion provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of purposeful leadership, community development, and service to humanity and the people.
Akinola also used the opportunity to reiterate the foundation’s commitment to interventions in education and community development. He said his philanthropic activities have been driven by the need to address challenges within his community, particularly through educational support and infrastructure development.
Against this background, Akinola’s birthday message to the Olubadan reflects his community-oriented activities and broader engagement in Oyo State public affairs.
According to him, “Oba Ladoja, who served as governor of Oyo State, has brought a long record of public service to the traditional institution.”
He therefore used the celebration to commend the Olubadan for what he described as his continued zeal for the advancement of Ibadanland, while wishing the monarch many more years of wisdom, good health, and service to the people.
