Hon. Akinola Kazeem, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated former First Lady of Oyo State, Ambassador Florence Ajimobi, on her appointment to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors.
Akinola described the appointment as a significant recognition of Ajimobi’s experience, leadership capacity and contributions to public service, saying her emergence represents an honour not only for her but also for Oyo State and Nigeria.

He said the appointment would provide another platform for Ajimobi to contribute her wealth of experience to international discussions on nuclear energy, technology, safety and other issues within the agency’s mandate.

Akinola expressed confidence that Ajimobi would bring to the international assignment the same commitment, diligence and leadership qualities she has demonstrated in public service. He also congratulated the people of Oyo State on the recognition accorded one of the state’s prominent public figures.
Akinola wished Ambassador Ajimobi success in her new responsibility and prayed that her tenure on the IAEA Board of Governors would be marked by meaningful contributions to Nigeria’s interests and the advancement of global cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear technology.
