According to him, credible and timely intelligence from members of the public remains one of the most effective tools in preventing crimes and supporting security operations.

The legal practitioner praised the resilience and professionalism displayed by the security agencies throughout the rescue efforts, noting that the outcome demonstrates what can be achieved through intelligence-driven operations and effective inter-agency collaboration.

He also appreciated the commitment shown by both the Federal Government under President Tinubu and the Oyo State Government led by Governor Makinde in supporting measures aimed at restoring the victims safely to their families.

While congratulating the rescued teachers, pupils and their families, Oyebamiji urged residents of Oyo State and Nigerians at large not to relent in supporting security agencies through timely and credible information.

He stressed that lasting peace and security can only be achieved when citizens remain vigilant, cooperate with law enforcement agencies and reject actions capable of undermining public safety.

The abducted teachers and pupils were kidnapped in Esi-Ele, Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, an incident that generated widespread concern across the state. Their eventual rescue has attracted commendation from public officials, political leaders and stakeholders, many of whom have described the development as a significant boost to ongoing efforts to tackle insecurity through cooperation between levels of governments, security agencies and local communities.

Oyebamiji’s reaction aligns with his earlier advocacy at the Oke’Badan High School ’96 Set 30th Anniversary celebration, where he encouraged responsible citizenship and promoted the “See Something, Say Something” initiative as a practical approach to strengthening security through community participation.
