2027: “It is Our Time” — Constituents Rally as Akinola Gains Unstoppable Support in Ona-Ara

In a resounding show of solidarity, constituents of Ona-Ara Local Government turned out en masse to support the House of Representatives aspirations of Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, a retired Army Captain showing interest to represent the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency in 2027.

The gathering, held at Elekuro High School, Ibadan, brought together party leaders, loyalists, and stakeholders, all advocating for equitable representation within the two sister local governments that make up the federal constituency.

Speaking at the event, leaders from various wards in Ona-Ara Local Government pledged their unwavering support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the candidacy of the Ibadan born politician, Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola in the upcoming election.

Leading the vibrant political assembly, Hon. Saheed Olanrewaju Solution, Director-General of the AKA Campaign Organization, expressed gratitude to the supporters for their massive turnout and commitment to Akinola’s ambition.

He emphasized the significance of unity and grassroots backing in ensuring victory in 2027.

In his address, the Ona-Ara APC Youth Leader, Hon. Yinka Soelènu, echoed the interest of other party leaders present, stating, “It is only fair for our party to give Ona-Ara Local Government the opportunity to present the candidate for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency in 2027, and Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola is the best choice for this role.”

The event was attended by prominent party leaders, stakeholders, and community figures, including Hon. Saheed Adeagbo, Hon. Lege Folarin, former APC councillors, APC councillorship candidates from the last local government election, and other distinguished members of the party. Youth leaders from various wards also graced the occasion, further cementing the grassroots support for Akinola’s candidacy.
