Grassroots supporters and volunteers backing the aspiration of Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general election have gathered to seek divine guidance and success for their national assembly ambition.
The prayer session took place at the Ola-Anabi Central Mosque in Oremeji Agugu, Ibadan—located in Ward 11 of Ona-Ara Local Government Area. Representatives from various support groups united in heartfelt prayers for a smooth and victorious journey for the retired Captain and politician.
The spiritual session was led by Alhaji AbdulGafar Abdulsalam, popularly known as Akamo, alongside other religious leaders. They prayed for Hon. Akinola’s success, as well as for peaceful process in all stages of the aspirations, and also the peace of mind and longer life to benefit from his representation among his supporters and the people of the federal constituency.

In a solemn moment during the gathering, the memory of Hon. Seye Olaoye—a staunch ally of Hon. Akinola who recently passed on—was honored. Prayers were also offered for his family and loved ones.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Oyekola Monsur expressed deep appreciation to the volunteers and support group representatives who made time to attend the prayer session. He urged members to continue spreading the vision of Hon. Akinola Kazeem, describing him as the most capable hand to offer quality representation for the constituency in the coming dispensation.
He also charged members to start preparing for voter’s card registration mobilization ahead of 2027 general elections.
